Installing Updates
Updates are installed through Add-Ons within Confluence General Configuration.
Click on the Cog icon in the top right-hand corner and then select Add-ons.
Enter your password for administrator access in the Password field, if required.
Click Confirm. The Manage add-ons screen, illustrated below, is displayed. Click Upload add-on.
You are then asked to locate the Add-on that you would like to upload. Click Browse to locate the Add-on on your local PC, and then select the latest DocToolkit installation file. Click Upload.
You will then see the following on your screen. If this appears to hang (as it can sometimes with Confluence) then simply refresh the page and start again. If you are installing remotely, remember that it will take time to upload the install file first.
When the installation has completed you will see confirmation that the installation has completed successfully. Click on Close.
You have now installed the update, and will see something similar to the screen shown below. Confirm that the version number is correct and that all modules have been loaded.
